Paris by night

The First Night in the big city

  • again am sorry for the grammer still can not get used to this blasted french keypad.

OK, so the first night was a little shocking in that I had no idea at all what i was doing or what I had planned but it turned out ok in the end. I left my 'Buck's about 9pm when it was about to close, had to run over to the McDonalds to use the potty as the one in 'Buck's was blocked and was really annoying, but once again McD's has gone out its way for the class of the toiltes they have here, very posh.

Though I would go for a long walk up to the Tower and see what that was all about, it started to rain abit but have so many layers that the rain had no power over me. As you are walking towards the tower you begin to see it sparkle like a little rocket ship, was very nice, and though it was late it was still kind of full of people, but not as many as there were during the summer - that's a given I think.

I think I stayed there for a hour or so just looking round and taking it all in was quite relaxing, but then that's all am doing, relaxing. It's expensive but its not if you get what I mean... Coffee in a french Cafe is really expensive, well if you consider the thimble size cup you get it in, 5.50 Euro's, but it's better then heading to the Buck's and paying 4 euros for a bucket.

On the way back I think I stopped halfway between the tower and one of the main bridges, I think that very post trainstation is near by but le sac is a bit heavy, not really that heavy but really kind of heavy enough for it to be a pain. I have thrown away some things that I didn't need, nothing important, just the seeds and the vitamins (well one of them anyway).

FOOD is not that expensive here, well if you want to eat out it is, but on the whole you can go into ED and get a nice pack of Chips orn some bread for next to nothing, and ofcourse the wine is really cheap but am not becoming a wino - not yet anyway.

On the bench I was just sad, not sure why, though more information on this is in my journal.

Just really unsure about what I ewasJust reallyt

OK your going to have to forgive me I am not allowed to delete for some reason so if there are any mistakes from here on in then get over yourself.

T was right, well you all are to be honest, what is the search I am looking for, is there a light out there that I am heading towards, why? I don't know and will never know and sitting here writing this I still don't know the answer. I thought I woyuld be simple to just julp of the bridge, but they are not that hight so not sure that would be a great Idea.

I think there is revelation to comer and am not sure what that will be. The back streets of Paris are really nice, nothing better than seeing real life - think am heading back to Newc, not looking forward to it, but was talking to a guy and he said the same thing as to what you all have said 'you can't change the world'.
